Transportation & LUGGAGE
We offer a variety of transportation options. Please be sure to let us know how your camper is arriving and departing camp by completing our Transportation Form.
-
Families driving their campers should arrive between 11AM – 1 PM on the session start day. Upon arrival at camp, families can expect to park at the farm and be transported to the main part of campus. Upon parking, you will sign in, check in at the Health Center for any medications, and deposit valuables to our office staff. We allow unpacking, but we ask you to keep your goodbye as brief as possible to allow your camper to get acclimated and meet their counselors and cabinmates.
Pick-up is between 9AM – 11AMon the session departure day.

Whenever possible, we meet campers right at their gate. If airline policy prevents this, campers should proceed to baggage claim, where a Med-o-lark staff member will be waiting.
Our team will assist with luggage and ensure campers board the camp bus directly to Med-o-lark. We monitor all flights for delays. Five days before your camper’s arrival, we’ll be in communication with your family to ensure you have everything you need like a contact phone number.
For Logan Airport (BOS), we ask that flights arrive between 11:00am and 4:00pm, as our camp bus departs at 5:00pm. For Portland, ME (PWM), please aim for flights to arrive before noon, if possible, as our camp bus departs at 3:00pm.
If your flight options fall outside these windows, please let us know. We’re happy to work with you to find a solution.
International or West Coast Campers: For campers flying longer distances (international or west coast), we recommend you book a flight to arrive the day before your session starts. We will provide an airport pick-up and get your camper to camp early so they can shake off the jet lag and settle in comfortably.
Flying as an Unaccompanied Minor: Before arriving at the airport, please check with your airline to determine if your camper should fly as an unaccompanied minor. These arrangements will need to be made for flights to and from camp. If your camper is traveling as an unaccompanied minor, we will inform you who to name as the contact
