  • An unforgettable out-of-camp day trip where campers ride the rapids, paddle as a team, and experience the thrill of the river—led by expert guides and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. Includes transportation, lunch, the rafting experience, and all required gear.

A note. This is a long day! We depart camp at 6am, ride the bus for 2.5 hours, and then ride the rapids. If your kid is desiring a more laid-back experience, we have a ‘Leisure Day’ at camp as an alternative where they can sleep in, eat a big breakfast, hang out in the Art Barn, by the lake or join us for community gardening at Sunny Acres Farm, across the lake.

    Dates:
    July 3 (Session 1)
    July 31 (Session 3)

    Cost: $200

Please note: if you are an older camper, we have alternative trips for you this summer:

July 3 (Session 1) = the Acadia Trip for Seniors & CITs only (rising 10th & 11th graders)

July 31 (Session 3) = Senior Overnight (rising 10th graders)

  • Campers will enjoy a full-day adventure to Portland, Maine, exploring the charm of the Old Port followed by a visit to the Portland Museum of Art. We’ll depart camp at 9:30am, drive a little over an hour, and spend approximately four hours in Portland. The day includes roundtrip transportation, snacks, and lunch, all provided by camp. Campers will return to Medolark in time for dinner, wrapping up a fun, cultural day out together.

    Dates:
    July 17

    Cost:
    $100

Please note: if you are a senior camper (rising 11th grader), we have an alternative trip planned for you. Wed July 16 will be the Senior Overnight, so we discourage seniors for signing up for the Portland Trip.

  • Acadia National Park is a must-see destination in Maine! Campers will spend the day exploring the natural beauty of Acadia National Park, with a scenic 2-hour (low-key) hike, rocky coastline views, and plenty of fresh air. Includes a picnic lunch, a dinner at a pizzeria, transportation, and entry to the park.

We depart camp around 8am, have a 90 minute bus ride to Acadia, hike for 2 hours, then spend about 2 hours on the beach before heading back to camp. On the way back: all-you-can-eat pizza.

    Dates:
    Aug 14 (all ages)

    Cost:
    $100

In case of rain or inclement weather, we will go bowling, enjoy pizza, and explore the charming town of Bar Harbour.

Please note: if you are a rising 10th or 11th grader, we have an alternative trip for you: Seniors & CIT Trip to Moose Mountain Mini Golf on Aug 14
