Camp Med-o-lark has so many different activities to explore and tons of nearby destinations to see and experience. The Med-o-lark staff is a diverse group. Each summer, staff arrive from around the US and the world and bring unique perspectives that help shape the Med-o-lark community. You’ll learn from fellow staff and Med-o-lark leadership to develop unique friendships that last long after the summer ends.

As a Med-o-lark staff member, you will have an extremely positive impact on campers’ summers. They look up to you, learn from your example, and leave camp at the end of summer with new skills and accomplishments because of your influence. It’s an enriching experience helping campers grow, achieve, and excel, all the while knowing that you had a large part in it.

Med-o-lark offers staff benefits, including a competitive summer salary, clean, comfortable accommodations, and a robust and insightful staff training program before camp begins. Because we have a high staff-to-camper ratio, we offer ample time off. On your days off, the spectacular Maine coast beckons along with a host of other local cultural offerings. Med-o-lark also maintains a spacious dedicated staff cabin retreat where you’ll find a fire pit, TV, free internet access, a kitchen, and plenty of seating for lounging.

Camp Med-o-lark is a place where staff develops invaluable life skills like leadership, persistence, organization, teamwork, and group management. No matter what field you ultimately go into, a Med-o-lark summer will always be an asset on your resume. We’re always glad to provide letters of recommendation or reference describing the skills you’ve developed with us.

GETTING HERE

Camp is located just 75 minutes from Portland, Maine and 25 minutes from Camden and Rockland, two of New England’s most charming coastal towns. Camp is 3.5 hours from Boston, America’s oldest city! Over the summer, we host staff trips to Portland and Boston.

We are situated on a beautiful 3 mile lake. Because Maine is so far north, we have great weather over the summer! Average temperatures are highs of 79°F (26°C) and lows of 59°F (15°C).
