activities offered this session

Below you'll find the activities being offered during Session 1 (June 28–July 12).

We recommend viewing this on a desktop.

VIEw by period

Below: activities offered in every period.
Periods 1 - 3 run for the full session. Periods 4 - 6 run for 4 days, then switch.

Activity sign-up takes place on the first night of camp. Before arriving, campers should review the list and think about their top two choices for each activity period.

Our staff works hard to place campers in activities they are enthusiastic about, so coming prepared with both first and second choices helps make the scheduling process smooth and successful.

More Info on Camp Activities

How Activity Sign-Ups Work

On the first night of activity sign-ups, elementary school campers choose first, followed by middle school campers, and then high school campers. This helps our younger campers feel supported as they navigate the process for the first time.

Midway through the session (four days in), campers will choose a new set of electives or afternoon activities. For this round of sign-ups, we reverse the order: high school campers choose first, followed by middle and then elementary school campers.

Age Requirements
Activities are generally mixed-age, allowing campers to learn from and alongside one another. Please note that Hot Glass and Blacksmithing have a minimum age requirement of 10 years old.

Theater Participation
Our theater program offers opportunities for campers at every level. Theater options are most extensive for campers attending a four-week session. Those attending a four-week session can participate in the Mainstage Play, Mainstage Musical, One Act Play and Cabaret. Those attending a wwo-week session can participate in the One-Act Play and Cabaret. For theater, all campers who want to participate will receive a role.

Horseback Riding

If your camper is interested in horseback riding, we partner with Lupine Farms, a local riding farm about 20 minutes from camp. We offer horseback riding during the first 4 days of camp for an additional $200. If you are interested in participating, please email us at welcome@medolark.com to sign up. Please note: spots for horseback riding are limited.
