Camp Med-o-lark
Camp Med-o-lark combines a screen-free summer in nature with creative arts programming that’s hands-on and deeply inspiring.
We are independently-run and intentionally small and in our community, every child is seen, celebrated, and supported. We are situated on a beautiful 3-mile lake in Maine, just outside Portland, Maine.
Like Balliaby, Camp Med-o-lark is a choice program, where kids choose their own activities, ranging from theater, music, fashion design, ceramics, circus, candle-making, hot glass, fine arts and more.
Our welcoming community attracts kind, curious, and creative campers. We are proud to say: we are not your average camp!

We are located just 75 minutes from Portland and 25 minutes from Maine’s charming coastal cities, Camden and Rockland.

FAQs
When do your sessions fill up?
Every year is different. Our girls cabins tend to fill faster than our boys. For some age groups, we fill up as early as January.
What’s your refund policy?
To save your spot, you’ll complete our brief application and put down a $1,000 deposit ($1,000 per child). That deposit is fully refundable if your plans change before March 1 2026.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer a pay-in-full discount ($250 off) and a sibling discount (10% off). CITs (rising 11th graders) receive 25% off tuition. We also offer financial aid, dependent on a family’s household income and residing state.
How do I register?
To save your spot, visit our 2026 application here. It takes about 5 mins to complete an application.
What ages do you serve?
Our campers are 7-16 years old. Most 16 year olds are CITs (counselors-in-training).
