Stewart McCafferty serves as Lead Boys Head Counselor at Camp Med-o-lark, a role he has held for the past four summers. In the off-season, Stewart works behind the scenes supporting camp systems and technology, drawing on his background as a Computing Science teacher and software developer. During the summer, Stewart oversees day-to-day life on the boys’ side of camp—supporting campers as they settle in, navigate challenges, and grow in confidence and independence.

With a calm presence, a strong sense of responsibility, and a genuine care for each camper’s experience, Stewart is known for being both a steady leader and a trusted support for campers and staff alike.
