Jerry is hyped to return to Med-o-lark this summer as a Rock Band instructor! He studied composition at Oberlin Conservatory, where he also performed in bands, jazz combos, and choirs. He currently teaches music lessons in the Columbus, Ohio area. He loves making music fun and accessible to everyone, and he believes in meeting each student where they are by working on songs they love. At camp, he’ll be co-leading the Rock Band program, as well as helping out in the Recording Arts and Theater programs. When he’s not teaching, you can find him running long distances, jumping into bodies of water, making beats, looking at maps, or listening to albums new and old. He can’t wait to make music with you this summer.
