Cabin Counselors
Mentor, guide, and role model for campers (ages 8-16) at an all gender, arts-centered, screen-free, non-competitive summer camp in Maine.
What you'll do
Keep campers safe: 24-hour supervision, follow safety protocols (buddy system, escort policies), and join emergency drills and training
Lead activities: Teach or assist in arts, athletics, or outdoor adventure, with creativity and collaboration over competition
Build community: Create an inclusive space and help run campfires and evening programs
Live in the cabin: Guide daily routines (meals, clean-ups, reflections), keep morale up, and submit daily wellness and participation notes
Work as a team: Attend meetings and workshops, and uphold camp values of accountability, kindness, and joy
What we're looking for
18 or older (19+ preferred for some roles)
Experience working with youth (teaching, mentoring, coaching, or caregiving) strongly preferred
Passion for youth development, the outdoors, and creativity, plus strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to live onsite and commit fully for the whole season
