Bel Almeida is very excited to work at Camp Med-o-Lark this summer as a circus instructor. Bel is a non-binary person who began their journey in the performing arts at age 5 in artistic gymnastics and competed at a high level until age 19. In 2022, they entered the world of theater and dance, graduating from technical courses in theater and musical theater. In 2024, they participated in the camp as a counselor, forming a connection with the children. In 2025, they participated in Cirque du Soleil’s training program in Cradle Mix, a circus discipline. They can’t wait to return to camp and help the children unlock new skills and create their own acts and shows.
